Skier MTT
Age 49
Height 5'10"
Weight 200+
Ski kinda fast but out of shape

Ski PM Gear 179 Newish Carbon softer flex
Binding Solomon Z-12 Ti
Ski + Binding weight 5 pounds 11 ounces each (FREAKISHLY LIGHT)
Tuned 1 Deg Base 2 deg Side
This is my second pair of BRO179's. Its been my go to. Everyday ski for 4 seasons.'
I also ski 194 OG Legend Pro's 188 Soft Bro's and 196 Carbon Lhasa POW's

I wanted to put out a quick review on the 179 Bro because with all the hype about Rockered BIG ASS Skis like the Lhasa POWs/ I wanted to reinforce just how solid a this ski is.

The ski is loads of fun on the Groomers / Holds a line at pretty rapid speeds up to a point (Say 50 MPH) Easy to change Turn shapes when high angle carving. Smear and slide very easily (No surprise edge chatter or Hook-up)

These are my GO TO Favorite ski for the Chutes @ Mt. Rose. So predictable!!

Easy to throw around.
Tree skiing is effortless they always let you go exactly where you want to go with NO Surprises.

These skis allow you to Ski Chop and tracked POW at a reasonable speed. turn where you want and again NO Surprises.

Summary This is a GREAT all mountain Ski for us mere mortals. If you want an easy to use Don't think about it, go anywhere do anything utility tool.

Look not further than the PM Gear Standard 125 tip 99 Mid 114 Tail: Do it all Ski.

And they are SO Frikin Light. Nice flex and torsionally STIFF to hold an edge everywhere

"No surprises" cannot be unrated when tree skiing.

In that area I really have no idea.  I would go in the front door and ask Pat Keene

Nice review, and good to see that photo getting some circulation.  Of course, you never did turn on that run.

I think these might be a fun ski for me.  On the short side, but I have been skiing 183-184 stuff anyway.

What do you mean not turning?  I am turning pretty sharp right in the picture!!

Why are the Top Sheets facing the Photographer who is off to the side?

If I had not just bought a new doublewide.  I would probsbly be down in the shop picking up the new 183's right now.

One of the Bears took some video of me sking some light Chop on the 179's I would sure like to see that here
