Lessons In Jackson

My girlfriend and I are headed to Jackson the 13th - 19th of February. This is only my second time in Jackson, which is pretty sad considering my business has a house out there.

Last time I was there was two years ago and I stuck to blue and double blue runs. My girlfriend has never been before but sticks to blues and blacks in Colorado. I would probably consider us both upper level intermediate skiers.

We talked about doing a lesson and I feel like our ability is somewhere between the intermediate and advanced group. Has anyone done any of the lessons there that could give me some feedback? I was also thinking about a private lesson. If I went that route would the instructor just see where we are at ability wise and just go from there?

Site member Teton Powder Junkie is an instructor at JH.  I have a private lesson booked with him for this Monday, I can't wait!  You should hit him up on the site.  Even if he isn't your instructor I'm sure he could answer your questions.

TPJ is a great choice. Luvbug here had a great private group with him. Dave is an awesome instructor.

Teton Powder Junkie is a great skier and a great guy- you'll have a fun day on the mountain with him.

Laying low.   Been pretty busy at work & well... the whole stitches near the eye thing was rough.  Nice part is, I was at work and this was an accident.  As you know we've struggled with the risks of introducing our kids to the adventure sports we love.  She's doing great.  The doc did a great job.  She's a trooper.

Moments ago I got off the phone with Living Proof.  He is well.

The mountain is skiing great.  Blue Bird skies for today!
