What are he skis that could replace my wonderful Volki 6-star?

I have been skiing on Volki 6-star and found them excellent over the years, although often begging for aggressive skiing to perform at their best. Although I am still happy with them, I am considering to replace them with a new pair. I tend to enjoy and perform at my best in large radius high speed skiing. What are the comparable 2008-2010 models made by Voilki or Fisher?

PS: Fisher used to make the FX9, which I believe had comparable features to the Voiki 6-star: is that an accurate statement?

Fischer Progressor 9+

Thanks Eric for the reply on Volkl 6Star versus Fischer FX9. I'll look into the Progressor 9+. The reviews seem quite good, although the word "unforgiving" appears quite often in the reviews of the Progressor 9+ (could they be more unforgiving than the Volkl?). If there are other alternatives you think I should consider, I would appreciate the input.

As I understand it, the 6* was pretty stout, I don't think you'd find the 9+ more of a handfull.

Not many skis are as unforgiving as the 6-star in the wrong conditions.  The Progressors are much better skis with a wider range of versatility, and that makes them more forgiving in my experience.

have to agree that in heavy cut up snow the six star deflects and reacts to the snow too much, making for a frenetic ride.

My take on it, having skied the 724 Pro at about the same time, was that the 6 Star was tortionally very stiff in the tip and tail, much like a slalom ski, for that super quick rebound carving. a kind of recreational slalom ski, and therefore sucks in crud, but you would have to give it that as it was never intended for it.
