what BSL do you need? my store has some of the non-EDT, WC shape for sale, and some of the EDT (not as much for sale)
no idea what head boot is similar, but any brands narrowest, stiffest race boot is a good starting point
Got my new EDT dobies yesterday. The general appearance is that its more a normal recreational design boot than a plug boot. Compared to my old ones. The models in between has also been a step in this direction so the evolution has been consistant. This time its even more stylish.
The way the shaft of the boot attaches to the lower boot for example. Before it was much more simple and flushed. Now it has more shape to it even thouh it is a bit more narrow. On my old boots I could stick my fist easily down the shaft without a linear but on the new ones this is impossible. Causes some hot spots on the bones in the ancle. Wonder if its possible to widen the width?
Even though it looks like the new model is lower volume due to the slightly lower instep and the narrow shaft the fore foot is much wider. With the old boots I had to get the shell streched quite a bit but on this boot no such modification was needed.
The length of the old and the new boot is the same. I can swap linears easily between the two. I will probably need to strech the shell a bit at my big toe but Im going to ski first.
The heel pocket has more shape and is a bit tighter.
Are these thaughts and observations anywhere near a boot fitters veiwpoint?
