Where to buy Plastic Expandable Tubing for Boot Dryer

I want to make my own boot dryer with a computer fan.

The materials I need are something that you don't find in retail stores.  I want some "Plastic Expandable Tubing".  Like listed here -- www.globalmedinc.com/Products/ExpandableTubing/tabid/62/Default.aspx

I can only find stuff like that listed at industrial suppliers but I need about six 1-1.5' pieces.

Anyone know where you can buy stuff like that.

I considered uses corrugated plastic electrical conduit which you can get at HD but it's much heavier and much stiffer and doesn't collapse/expand.

Any ideas?

I pull old vacuum cleaners out of peoples trash and cut off the hose. that's probably available as vacuum cleaner replacement hose. I also use rigid tubing and it supports the boot. dryer vent hosing?

Or you could use a Blitz USA 11881 funnel for ~$3

which fits case fans nicely into the blue plastic bit with just a bit of foam around them.

I made a pretty slick dryer out of a flip lock food  container, a 3" 12v PC fan (and 12v wall wart), and some portable vacuum cleaner hose, and some plastic sink fittings. Everything is housed in the container except for the hoses which just snap into the 1 1/4" hole in the container.
It gives validity to my argument about "never throwing anything away", which my wife takes exception to!

This is exactly what I was planning.  I have 3" PC fan and a 12v wall wart.  I also just planned to use a tuperware-type container for a manifold.  Now I just need tubes.  I might set it up with six tubes to do up to three pairs (me, wife, kid).

I'd like to find light-weight flexible as I want to pick this thing in my boot bag and I like to travel light.  Vacuum cleaner hose would be too heavy for that application.

That tube on the end of the funnel about right.  Just need to figure out how to buy six cheap.  Will now google "flexible funnel".

These look like a possibility--

http://www.reliablepaper.com/Flexible_Oilflex_Spout_p/765-20002.htm

Only lists the closed size as 4".  Looks like extended is 8-10" which is a bit short.  Still at $.69 each. That's cheap. Also, it looks like they have screw threads at both ends so they could be chained together.

www.mscdirect.com

go to page 4071 in the catalog. You can flip from there. Mostly vacuum type hoses though, not that expandable type. Link:

www.mcmaster.com has the expanding type made with teflon. Very, very expensive!

This from the man who bought a coleman to make an ice cooler for his knee.

Not really, it was Dirt Devil hand vac, which uses small light weight (read "cheap") vinyl hose about 1 1/8" dia.  I'll try to take a photo and post it.
