I don't what's up, but I cannot find the documentary Truth in Motion on iTunes. Is it still there, or is there some stupid restriction on it because I am in Canada.

Please help!

I downloaded it in HD yesterday. Search for "Truth in Motion" without the Audi part. Not sure about the Canadian thing.

Crap, it is only available on the US iTunes store, which I cannot download from. I can't even find a torrent either

Well that sucks. Is Truth in 24 available for you. I hadn't heard of it before searching for Truth in Motion. Am downloading now.

I saw it in one of the searches but now I can't find it again. It'd be cool too.

It really sucks that we cannot get this in Canada. I wonder if Audi is even aware of this? I e-mailed them earlier today. In the interim, I hope to find a copy somewhere.

If you have a laptop synced to your ipod just download it from the itunes store in the U.S. the next time you are down there and have access to the internet. The digital rights management is working off your ip address. That is the legal way to do it, as the distribution is occurring in an area where apple has the digital rights to do so.

There are technical ways to mask your ip address or to connect through a US proxy server which accomplishes the same thing but is probably violating the rights of whoever has the Canadian distribution. If you do a google search on "Hulu" or "Hulu Canada" you'll see several articles on how people have attempted to circumvent the geo restrictions.

Speaking of said documentary it was on USA HD tonight. I'd try using an anonymous proxy server from the US and download it from the itunes store.

Google was my best friend again. It is possible to sign up for an "American" account and access US content. Search for "use itunes from canada" or "us itunes without credit card" for the procedure.

Now if I can just find a DRM .m4v to AVI/DivX that worked properly so I can put it on a DVD, I'd be happy.
