Blizzard 2010 JR SL Skis

Thread Starter
Does anyone have a jr racer on the Blizzards?  Curious about them.  Most every jr in our area of the NE is on Fischer for SL and GS.  I have a J5 who wants to branch out and try Blizzards.  Any word out there?

very solid race brand in lake tahoe j5's thru j1's.

some of the best kids in each age group in the u.s. are skiing on blizzard.

he/she is only a j5. near as i can tell the u.s. ski team does not have the funding to be focused on anything other than the a & b programs. in other words no harm no foul, let your j5 have some control of their ski career. decisions you make for a 9 yo, are rarely making or breaking athletes.

good luck,

jim

My nine-year old boy skis on 137 cm Blizzard JR SL and he is in I2 (introductory racing in eastern Canada).  There are probably four or five other kids using the same ski on his race team and I have heard no complaints.  By the same token, other children on his team use junior race skis by Stockli, Atomic, Fischer, and Rossignol - and I have not heard any complaints from them either.

No idea about the Jr's but I really like the adult SL's and I'm working on getting Blizzard WC Mag SL bought for next race season.  Love Blizzard over all so I'm really curious how their race skis stand up for the season
