18" reported this morning.  I think they may have been a little light on that estimate..   Saw Bob Peters by the tram in the morning.  He had was guiding a guy, so he had an early tram.  The bombs were going off pretty heavy, and I kind of suspected that the tram might open a little late.  I told Bob that my wife and I were thinking about starting out with a couple runs on Apres Vous.  He said that might be a solid plan, so we gave it a try.  First tracks in Saratoga bowl.  It was deep.

Great day.  We didn't take a ton of pictures, but here are a few:

I was going to call you to see about a couple runs tomorrow morning but I'm now under doc's orders to take tomorrow off.

What sort of sad strange doctor do you go too that would insist you not ski?  Might it be  .  .  .  Bombastic Bushkin?  Ah wait, that was Johnny Carson's lawyer, not his doctor.

I think the JH Chamber of Commerce needs to offer free trips for Bears visiting, cause "We Bring Pow". UP Racer and Finndog have the goods.

Get well Bob, we need pics of you two together!

Thank you Bob for showing me the best ski day of my life.  If the pictures don't show it, I had the sickest time!  No joke my favorite ski day in 30 years on the slopes.  I simply can't say enough about Bob.  His knowledge of this mountain and the whole valley for that matter is bar none.

I'm here until Sat and praying you recover soon so we can ski together some more!

PS...It just started snowing here again :)
