Adult Race Clinics

Thread Starter

I am looking for leads on Adult (35 year old) ski clinics, that could be combined with a ski trip.  Just looking to take a trip and run some gates with some instruction.  Any thoughs are welcome.

Squaw Valley offers daily training throughout the season with great coaches and great courses. A bit pricey but worth it.

Taos Ski Valley has a six day race week in January. I did it this year for the first time and will definitely be back next year.  Most of the students are 35+.  The focus is GS and SL.    Cost this year was $200 for the camp plus lift tickets which I think is a great deal.

SwissAm Ski Racing (www.swissam.com) has daily rates for training. Our program is a geard for Masters (18+) with most racers in their 30s - 60s. Our February schedule for training is posted on the Training Calendar page. We generally train tech on M, Tu, W, S and Su with SG on Th. You might negotiate a rate that suits your visit with Hans, the program director. You can contact him through the site.

Jay Peak runs an early season race camp. I am not sure if it's open to the general public or if it's run "by request" for ski clubs. Some friends from a large ski club in OH had one a couple years ago.

Michel Pratte has always been my favorite, and I'll be doing a clinic with him in a couple weeks. He runs camps all over the world, and they're always top-notch.
