Bootfitters at Sugar Bowl (BestFit Boots)

I read on the Sugar Bowl website that they have a new shop called BestFit Boots with bootfitters trained by Jim Schaffner. I'll be skiing at Sugar Bowl in a couple weeks and need some bootfitting work done and need to get new boots for my wife. It would be great to work with someone right at the resort for obvious reasons, but does anyone know if the fitters in this shop are any good? Also, since SierraJim is apparently no longer in Sacramento, are there any good fitters working at Sierra Ski & Snowboard in Sacramento?

Sako at best fit boots is one of the best fitters that has worked for me. We also share a few part time boot fitters that are also very good. Gregg Stone works at Start Haus 3 days a week and at Best Fit Boots 1day per week. Adrian Wattenmaker came to Start Haus from Jeff Rich's US Orthotics Lab. StartHaus and Best Fit Boots share him a few days a week. All very good choices as boot fitters. Jim

Also, don't know what's left at Sierra in sac, but sierrajim, Tyler, and renshaw, are all working at Start Haus. They help complete a very strong team for us. jim

Thanks, Jim. It sounds like if BestFit doesn't have something right for my wife they'll be sending us over to StartHaus.

Just spreading the good boot fitting gospel. Good luck to you and your wife. Jim
