Davluri -- two good posts (# 109 and 125) IMO. Not to detract from them, but they were somewhat inconsistent. In #109, you said that people are rude
not because they are inexperienced, unaware, or slow, but because they were simply a**holes -- and in #125 you confess to past rudeness and ascribe it to lack of awareness and being slow.
My own view of human nature is that it's more like both your posts combined:
(a) some people are rude because, as you noted, they are just a**holes (the guy who cuts you off in traffic);
(b) some are unintentionally rude because they can't help it or are caught up in their own circumstances (the 85 year old lady who cuts you off in the supermarket line);
(c) some people are unintentionally rude because they are inexperienced (my 9 year old daughter who cut in front of several snowboarders at the terrain park because she thought they were "just resting" at the top).
As usual, just my $.02....
