Has anyone been to Panorama in BC? Looking at a trip in March.

I was there for a couple of days in 2007.  Nice resort, but I don't think they get tons of snow on average.  I would check their snow reports so far for this season.  Nice looking village with ski in/out accomodations, good lifts, 4000 ft. vertical, nice cruiser runs etc.  Fernie is a few hours drive to the south, & Kicking Horse even closer to the north for more challenging terrain.  I spent my 2nd day there with RK heliskiing, based right at Panorama.

If you like groomers or ski/ski out is important, Panorama is a great place.

It is my least favorite of the Alberta/Eastern BC destination resorts (better than Nakiska though). As 4ster mentioned, Pano doesn't receive much snow. This is a problem with Lake Louise as well, but I think Lake Louise has better terrain.
