One more Q on wax;
I tuned and waxed, (Dominator Zoom), my and my wife's "Western" skis after returning from CO last season. Wax was rubbed on the edges also, (we don't use these skis here in the east).

We're getting ready to go to CO in 2 weeks, opinions on whether I should do anything to the skis, or are they ready to go?

Scrape 'em and go!

Generally, I'd agree with volklgirl on this, but after seeing a bunch of skis needing serious love after a couple days skiing on abrasive snows at ESA Aspen/Snowmass, it depends on previous number of wax cycles and prep. Hopefully, the current storm system will change all this, but if you have not performed multiple wax cycles on the skis, it wouldn't hurt to bang out one or two more and plan on the possibility of needing more on you trip.

Terry;
I did the base-prep wax cycle when both were new, (wife's Tough Luvs new last year). After 6 days in CO last season, I deburred/sharpened edges and hot-waxed with Dom Zoom, scraped. rotoed, (your stuff), and crayoned the edges for summer.

I was wondering If I need to rewax before putting them back into action in two weeks.

I take a small "kit" with me on vacation; (Dom Zoom, Ray's Wax Whizzard, small nylon brush,FK Multi, course and med diamonds for the multi and a mill file insert just in case.

Sounds like you'll be fine to scrape and go, but again, with the abrasive snow of late, it's hard to tell how long they will last. With a major storm firing up now, it may be a moot point.......yeah baby!
