When Phil says meet at the Gondi at 10, on a POW day, the real truth is there are no friends on a POW day. So, Fireball, I and the real BOB PETERS are standing at the Gondie waitin on Phil, and, waitin on Phil. Phil's on the mountain. Bob says, " I only have time for one run and I have to get on the Gondi now!" Fireball and I are no dummies, so, let's go Bob. Bob's lines are unnamed little chutes. New snow and we are loving this. Fireball says to Bob " Its great you know where to ski with no rocks". Bob says " I don't know where the rocks are!" We just did it. Thanks for waiting up. Ski with Bob if you ever get the chance.
Funny moment. Bob is a rep for Head Skis. He spots this "Babe" with a pair of Peak 78's. Goes over and offers her a Head sticker " I love Head". He got away with it a lot better than I ever would have. He's smooth, and, I'm not referring to his ski style.
We catchup later and Skiing-in-Jackson is in charge of where to go. Pretty foggy, don't get 25 yards behind. Finndog, Tyler, Phillpug, Rachel, Fireball, Kawo and me. Read that as "way behind" me. They all rock and are soon all gone.
In the afternoon, the sun comes out and Finndog and his bud Gary and I are doing Apre-vous faces that were full of rocks on Monday and now just some nice POW. Great afternoon, great day. Finndog just getting it on on skis. He just keeps looking for secret places to take advantage of the new snow.
Skiing in Jackson, bootfitting king of JH, fixes up the boots of Finndog, Philpug and our friend Alice.
A great fun day. Amazing turn around of ski conditions overnight. Many tired puppies tonight. Pass the Ib please.
The "ghee" tomorrow.
