My kids are getting older and finally I'm getting back into skiing regularly. I'm buying my first new skis in a decade and the technology sure has changed! I've decided to go with Volant Gravity 66's. What I don't understand yet is binding lifts and plates. The Volants have a plate, so I assume I don't want bindings with lifts? The package I'm looking at comes with Marker 1100 Titaniums, which have a stand height of 31mm. Wouldn't that be too much overall height when mounted on the Volant plate? Wouldn't the Marker 1200 EPS, with a stand height of 19mm make more sense for both height and ski flex? Anybody have any opinions on the 1200 EPS?
