HELP!! What size skis do I get for my weight/height/style?? Any help most appreciated!

I am a fairly advanced skier having done a season in La Plagne, France in 07/08 but I haven't been on the snow since. I am going skiing for two weeks at Easter with my university in Alpe d'huez and am looking to buy some new skis but am unsure on the spec. These will be the first skis I have ever brought having had access to free hire during my season and I'm on a tight budget so I'm going to get some second hand for now - possibly off Ebay.

- I am 174 cm/ 5 ft 7 1/2
- I weigh roughly 145 pounds

I'm looking specifically for twin tip skis as I do a lot of work in the park, but also enjoy powder and want to be comfortable on piste as well.

I have found some decent Salomon Thrusters but they are 161cm, is this too small? I have also seen some Rossignol Scratch skis that are 168cm, would these suit me better?

Any help most appreciated. Cheers!

If you like the park but still want something to play with, take a look at the Volkl Bridge

If I were you, I'd stick to 170+ unless you really prefer a short, super nimble ski, that feels unstable at high speeds.  Twin tips ski shorter.  You could take a gander at the Line Flight, K2 Extreme (or K2 Public Enemies in their used form).
