"If your'e not able to explain something simply, then you don't truly understand it yourself" ( a paraphrase of sorts)
This thread has really angered me.
Paragraph after paragraph of minutiae that doesn't answer the question.
Don't answer if you don't really understand it.
Many are here looking for real information. Not bullsh##.
There is reply after reply of nothing.
Who vets the folks here??
That seems a bit harsh. I aggree it can be easy to get lost in the minutae. It's free reading, though, and I have to say I have learned a bit from just reading stuff here. Peope pay to be members here and I don't, so I can't complain.
How do you explain subtle movements or feelings to someone on a message board? There is no other way to describe these things than through diagrams and tech-talk, I guess.
The only thing that confuses me are the disagreements between instructors when it comes to the best system or protocol. I was taught certain things a certain way and sometimes I will read a comment or two about some things like the 'foreagonal' movement and it surprises me to hear that it is not considered valid or something to be used, as I was given this information explicitily by instructors over the years. It seems like the standards are always changing and evolving.
