K2 does a 1 degree base and a 1.5 degree side on all their skis from the factory.
Truly mediocre tune for a ski on hard snow, meaningless for a ski in deep snow. Plus, do all the skis really end up in the skiers hands with those exact bevels? Many ski factories do a really sloppy job of the initial tune. How consistent are the skis made in K2's Guangzhon City factory?
As well said above, get the skis tuned to the angles that best suit your skiing style and snow conditions.
