I think the OP might find the 178 a bit short. I'm 5'9" 160 lbs and I ski the 178

I have skied Line Prophets for the last 2 years as a daily driver.  Twins with some side cut and metal.  The 100's were great but a little slower edge to edge so I'm on the 90's this season in a 186.  They ski short but are a good compromise for a do everything board.  When in doubt - demo and take notes.

I'm thinking that I might pick up a set of 184 MR's and ski both, and see what I like better.  With the deal I got, I think that the cost of renting them is actually more than the cost of mounting them, skiing them a couple times and reselling them.
