I saw a ski film the other day that was about 8 years old. A couple of the principal skiers were talking about risk, danger, difficulty, perception of fear, and so forth.
One of the skiers is no longer alive because a skiing accident (not speaking of Shane) took his life. Does it make his conversation in the film about the difference between frightening and terrifying any different, knowing how his life ended? It sure gave me the chills.
