Blizzard Magnum 7.6 IQ Excessive "shake" in turn - nearly UN-SKIABLE!

I'm an instructor and recently purchased the Blizzard Magnum 7.6 ski.  The first time I took them out they were nearly unskiable.  IN the words of a fellow instructor who skied them for me "They were dangerous to ski".  That's no exageration.  In a medium radius turn at moderate or high speed the ski would literally flop around.  It would cause my legs to feel like they were on a pogo stick.  THis isn't just a chatter, it's a violent shake.
Any ideas on what would cause that?  I checked the binding mount and all looks good.  The boot is centered at the designated spot on the ski.  The shop technician suggested that the tip might have been catching and releasing so we dulled the tips a bit.  That seemed to help, so I dulled them some more (8 inches back) and it is much better but still shakes when really worked hard in a turn.  On long radius high speed turns it works very well.  I have a call into BLizzard customer service but was curious to see if anyone else has experienced this problem.  I've never seen or felt anything like it before.

Check if the bases are flat.

There's something wrong with the ski or its tune.  The 7.6 is usually solid as a rock.

It could be a tuning issue. I have a pair of Magnum 8.1's. The were amazing last year. Took them for a tune and they were unskiable. The outer edge would engage and hurl me to the snow. I also had the problem once on my Line Prophet 90's...both times the skis were not beveled properly. The shop fixed the Magnum's...they required a 2 or 3 degree bevel on the edges. Now they are like butter again. The day I had the issue with the Lines, I was at cannon Mtn skiing and after 3 trips in to fix them, they figured the edges weren't beveled at all, causing them to engage and chatter. They fixed the bevel...2 degrees...skied perfectly afterwards. Hope this helps you...
