Jackson Hole jacket tool at Alta 1/3.

Thread Starter
To the mid 50's guy at Alta yesterday. I'm happy that your trying to relive your high school race team memories on your yearly ski vacation. You go boy!

You really don't have to try and impress me and my girlfriend about how you've been skiing double blacks for two days with your 82 year old buddy. Not even at the Collins mid-lift and i've heard your life story. I could care less, she could care less. There isn't even 5 feet of base down and you have your mid fats on so you can race down groomers!! wow, such a stud.

yeah, i'm on 20 year old K2's because there's no snow!!

Take all that east coast money you make and buy a clue. If you were that hardcore a skier, you'd be back country.

Utah resident, living the life-not just flying to it.

Excuse me, but you're getting ahead of things.

Now, did you want the 5 minute introductory argument, or would you like to pay for the full hour?

Sounds like Donald Trump is out West???

I don't know who's being the bigger tool here, unless the dude really did something disrespectful that you're not telling us.

People flap their self-aggrandizing gums all the time.  Are you so naive as to be that irritated by it?

And also, why so jealous over his "east coast money" and newish skis?  Living on the EC might be "living the life" for him as well.

Nice 'tude dood.

You edited the part about this being your first and last post. Too bad, it was something to look forward to.

And amazing how it might seem to you, he might feel sorry for Utards, and be VERY pleased to be flying in and enjoying, then going back to his idea of THE lifestyle "back home - Ya think?

True, there is a problem with this kind of thing. The guy posting the insults is riding the coat tails of this somewhat credible forum to give his gripe some validity. And most of us don't even get where he's coming from, much less support his non-position.

I wouldn't say nothing.  OP needs to learn about caring.

If you ask me, an 82 year old on inbounds double-blacks is a story worth hearing about.  I would have joined them, and maybe suck down a few frosties at the end of the day- paid for with their East Coast money.

Sounds to me like his girlfriend was impressed.

All three of these are just too rich, pun intended, total crack up. good work.

Is that why her tongue is in his ear. careful kids, it could get stuck  that way, and then what would you do?
(frozen like on a steel pipe, then you need the blowtorch!)

Nothing really to add on my part, I just wanted to make sure I got to post in this very important thread.

Maybe it's the three glasses of wine I had at dinner but I'm not too clear on where the "Jackson Hole" part comes into this story.

Huh???

To OP.  relax dude.  Skiing is fun.  No matter how long you been doing it, no matter where you live.  when your on the hill you feel BAD ASS.

Its all realative to who your in the room with.   Just be exicted that the 50 year old dude was feeling free and high on sking.

Just like the 7 year old that just bombed the blue run and now thinks they the badest thing ever.

Be happy for them.

BP and TPJ:

My interpretation was that the OP was referring to a "tool" who was wearing a Jackson Hole jacket (hence the title of this thread: "Jackson Hole jacket Tool @ Alta..."

what i am unclear on is how a guy wearing a JH jacket skiing at Alta automatically has "east coast money". wouldn't the JH jacket imply that he was from JH?

second of all, if dude was bothered by the guy on the lift all he had to do was politely ask the gentleman to stop talking.

finally, it usually take a tool to know a tool...

if that's what he's worried about, his honey making the moves on a fiftysomething happens to me all the time  , maybe they should be riding the wildcat.
