I arrived in the parking lot Sunday at about 11:00am to +14 F. , 0 wind and bright sun. Dynastar Van and rep's were set up with demo's. Didn't take long for me to try out a pair of Legends, 85cm waist, 172cm length. They loved GS type turns but I couldn't get a short radius turn out of them w/o just skidding them around. Rep said to try the Sultan 80's, he didn't have a pair in the van, but they would be setting the area shop with a pair. Since I stopped citizen racing I've just used a 1 ski quiver, but maybe now, with the wide ski's, I will move to a 2 ski quiver. I still hope to find 1 pair that will do most things I want. I have been hearing good things about Rossi ti82's.
Things started to get busy so play time ended, temp's peaked at about 17-18 F. with blue bird skies. Is that perfect or what?
