20 New Skiing Terrain openings in past decade (Expansions and new resorts)

With the new decade, I did a little research to come up with 20 spots of new inbounds terrain opened the '00s (either completely new resorts or expansions) I'm sure there are more, but I don't think I missed any major ones. (I'm sure my fellow Bears will let me know if I did ) Details/photos/maps of all 20 are here at http://tinyurl.com/ya36lqn but here's the list itself

(in no particular order)
1. Blue Sky Basin, Vail (opened just 6 days into decade-- Jan 6, 2000)
2. Highland Bowl, Aspen Highlands
3. The Chutes, Mt. Rose
4. Mount Bohemia, Mich.
5. Montezuma Bowl, A-Basin
6. Revelstoke, Canada
7. Dream Peak, The Canyons
8. Moonlight Basin, Mont.
9. Stone Creek Chutes, Beaver Creek
10. Lookout Mtn., Northstar
11. Kicking Horse, Canada
12. Granite Peak, Wis.
13. Legends Expansion, Purgatory
14. Lookout Mtn, Whiteface
15. Imperial Express, Breck
16. Interconnect, Brian Head
17. Sacajewea Lift, Grand Targhee
18. Revelation Bowl, Telluride
19. Lakeview Bowl, Brundage
20. Catskiing, Keystone

(Also Tamarack came and went during the 00s)

In addition, kind of interesting to step back and look at big picture of trends for expansions, trail design and such. i.e. "Backcountry-lite", etc.

Great list and I think you hit upon some big ones.

Not so sure about #15 - that was t-bar serviced terrain before.  If you're going to mention Breck, than I'd say their Peak 7 expansion was much bigger.

Silverton opened somewhere around 2002.  Echo Mountain opened around 2006.

Snowbird opened Mineral Basin in 2000.  That was a big expansion.

Discovery in Montana added a bunch of terrain about 5 years ago.

New tram at Jackson?  Not sure if that qualifies or not.

Timberwolf chair Montana side of Lookout Pass, ID.

Northway chair, Crystal Mt., WA.  This one added a whole new page to the trail map.

Slushmans chair, Bridger Bowl, MT.

Interstingly, all 3 are double chairs.
