Hello to all,

I have finally decided to upgrade and buy isupershape sl with ff14 bindings after 3 years on rx8. While I was reading all the info about the skis and bindings I realise that head claim they have shortened the height of the binding(ff14) down to 21 mm which makes the boots come close to gliding band and this is a good thing etc. but in oposition to this they   put 13mm speed plate which will make the boots away from the ski back again. Isnt this a contradiction.?  why to decrease the heigth of the bindings than add extra height  on the skis with a plate?
Sorry about my English I hope it is clear.
