Selling my Harb Carver Comp alpine training skates. Nearly new condition, as I only used them once before injury slowed down my alpine racing. The Harb Carvers very effectively simulate carving dynamics on pavement. Excellent off-season or in-season training aid. Adjustable to fit a wide range of boot sole length. My boots not included! Harb Comps are $350 new; will sell for $200 plus shipping.

Are they autographed by his majesty?  You may want to post on a different site......... he may be very upset to hear they are for sale here!

Don't see how he could be offended that a used pair is being sold on here, except maybe the low price.

I'd make an offer though it seems I haven't been chatty enough to send messages yet. This is what I get for just reading around here. haha

Have we ever had a "does changing front wheel size act like changing binding ramp" discussion on here?

Seriously, you're posting in the wrong place. Post your offer on the PMTS forum.

Tim,
I did the deal with Rallyskier.  Wanna give em a go when they show up?

Haha, nice, would be curious to hear your thoughts when you try them. Rollerblading was great off season training and I could see how these could be better with the need to tip and all.

Finn,
Consider them a poor man's August Chile trip. Will use them to have fun when the snow melts. Willing to meet me someday and join in? You have nothing to loose but skidding skills.

Hey, I have a a lot of skin to loose on those things; and its called drifting or scarving. I've worked hard to get that down.  If you are going to take up JC method, you better soften up to that idea since the concept of hardedges is verbotten!    I thought you were sliding your boards last week in the bumps last week and lovin' it? Admit it Mike, we're pullin' you (kicking and screaming) over to the darkside slowly but surely....    brroooohaaaaahhaaaaa....

Finndog, my JH brother,

We all need to get "skin" into the game. That simply means we need to be committed to good skiing.Ya can't buy your skiing with a magic skis.  Ya gotta put some skin on the line to ski steep faces in Chile or green groomers. So here's the LP challange, let's video some ski tracks in JH next week. Closest to Phil's two twin ribbons wins. Looser pays for pitchers at the Moose.

Admit it, if it says HH, your buttons get pushed.

But if we have a discussion on FX - 88's......

LP,

You are getting your FX/MX mixed up. The FX84 was is black ski, the MX88 is the white ski you bought.

Since I am the benchmark...who will be the judge?

Mike, the compeition isnt about rails its about smiles and good skiing, good sking isn't measured by rails! Even HH calls them brushed turns, JC calls them Drifting, call them whatever you like but lets go!

Magic ski?  Yes, I really believe my Kasltes 78's have some kind of magic in them!
