I use a small soft plastic bladder with a water bottle style cap. A platypus. In my jacket pocket and insulate it with some neoprene so it doesn't act as a heat sink on a cold day. brrrrrrrr. can't tolerate the sweat spot caused by any pack, so that's out. also, skiing you can drink on the chair. constant little pulls aren't necessary. the convenience of a hydration pack for cycling and such is not an issue skiing, for me anyhow. just get some water in when I'm doing nothing, like on the chair. really a great system.
what's with all the ibuprofin. are you guys chronically injured or suffering constant pain due to skiing? There is a price to pay for that stuff, liver or kidney strain. to make a habit of it is not without side effects.
Yes TC, you've got it... “the real essentials of skiing”
Come to think of it; cgeib carries the Peanut M&M’s and Betsy lugs the water…I’ve got it made
