I'm far from the best bump skier in the world, but I think that coping with the goofy conditions Monday was more instructional than any drills I could have practiced in ideal conditions. It was actually quite a challenge knowing that every turn was probably going to have to be different than the one before it.
Hopefully the discussion here about turning on the best snow helped as there is usually more snow on the tops. Until yesterday, I had only made 3 runs down any of our steeper terrain as conditions were just to thin to safely ski regardless of technique or line. You should be getting some of the Pacific flow charging inland, be safe.
