what simple thing did I do to improve my skiing in a couple hours?

where does our body make the crucial contact with the ski?

how could I tripple the strenth of my foot without a bit of exercise?

how did I make every pair of skis I own perform better?

what could make you adopt a wider more natural feeling stance?

what turned a pair of good boots into super boots?

OMG

Thats obvious, you moved from Tahoe to:    Somewhere in the PNW where the view stinks and the slopes are really crowded.

Where the snow is MUCH better.   We all have footbeds but we don't all have great snow.

What took you so long?  I got custom cork footbeds 25 or 30 years ago.

replying this may bump those on the fence over the edge.

I thought I was skiing fine. If it's not broken don't fix it, an' all.

occaisionally in certain snow my feet hurt like hell, but I rationalized that little problem away, for 25 or 30 years.

and I had forgotten that I had the new footbeds when I went out yesterday. first turn and I remembered. man oh man, niiiiice!
