I haven't seen a Summit County TR in a while, so I thought I'd post. Although due to the still early season conditions, I'm not surprised there haven't been more posts.

Today (Tues) at Breck, T-Bar and Ore Bucket are open, but conditions are still thin. Saw a few Peak 7 blue skiers caught in the rocky/branchy bumps of the Bucket. Skier's left off the T-Bar is bare/wind blown above tree line. Skier's right off T, Horseshoe Bowl is not open, but Contest Bowl is open. Hopefully this weeks storm will fill in the mountain. Even a couple inches would make Contest Bowl much more fun.

I shot a POV of Contest Bowl. I guess no better TR than riding along with a skier.

For whatever reason, that video is really choppy on my mac, but it looks to me that that is Horseshoe Bowl, not Contest.  Too long of a shot for Contest, which is only about 10 turns (but nice and steep).

I skied both Horsehoe and Contest on Saturday, and there were some nice lines if you didn't follow the crowd.  Snow was nice, but I was certain that it would be pretty much gone by the end of the weekend with all of the traffic.  We need snow!
