Could be the worst ski related movie ever....

I just watched the trailer.... www.apple.com/trailers/independent/frozen/

how do they manage to make a full length movie with the characters stuck in a chair the whole time....
This reminds me of the famous "Curb Your Enthusiasm" episode. The lift breaks down with Larry on a chair with an Orthodox Jewish woman who can't spend the night alone with a man not her husband, as darkness begins to fall.... (at least it was intentionally funny).

Why is the guy hanging from the lift just wearing tennis shoes and a sweatshirt?

I've been waiting for someone to mention that on one of the jumping from the lift threads.

Here's the trailer for those averse to quicktime.

is there a caddyshack of skiing?
out cold?  there's gotta be something better than that right?

That trailer you posted does look pretty awful. It looks like they waited until they had no strength to try and do something.  Plus, getting off a lift in a life or death situation like that would be fairly easy.

Aspen Extreme?  That was pretty god-awful.  The only thing redeeming was the footage shot at Mt Trashmore.

achem.  caddyshack is regarded as the best golf movie of all time.  asking about a caddyshack 2, however, would evoke said response.

Looks like a documentary about Vail to me

Reminds me of the classic "Chairlift to Death"

 That Trailer got my attention!

Uhh.....interesting.  No chance I can let my gf see that.

Yeah.  My wife would have a fit if I took her to a movie that bad.

Maybe its better than you think.  Lets see if I were writing the script.  Guy jumps from lift and breaks both legs and can't move.  Broken leg guy on ground is bleeding which the wolves smell.  Friends on chair lift watch as broken leg guy gets eaten by wolves.  H'mm sounds more like a Halloween movie.  Probably a bit much for the young ones.  Maybe this movie is a documentary on various stages of hypothermia, which includes taking off all your cloths.

Anyone else want to take a shot at writing the movie script.

We definitely need a bear to go see this movie and write a movie review.

Wow, thats pretty terrible.

You'd think you'd jump off with your skis/snowboard.

This could help shorten the lift lines.

Catskills, this shouldn't be over a PG (they will need the ticket sales).  How about a pack of St. Bernards w/ brandy kegs, chase the wolves away?  The jumper gets some pain killers too that way.

I have no idea how the movie is, but it was cool to watch them shooting it.  They used the Wildcat lift at Snowbasin, which is one of their older fixed-grip triples.  The lodge scenes were shot in the old day lodge, which, if you are familiar with Snowbasin lodges, it is nothing like their current lodges.

This is really not my type of movie, but I'll probably check it out just because I watched some of the filming.

I think I stumbled upon a ski related movie that is worse than Frozen, although I have not seen Frozen.

I just want to know if anyone has ever seen this one:

Wow. That looked pretty cheesy. It's gotta be boring if they're stuck in a chairflift that long. As much as I hate pointing out flaws in movies, because well...they're movies and I should just enjoy them and accept the fiction, don't ski patrol usually make 1 last run after the lifts shut down to ensure that people aren't still up on the mountain (or the lifts)?

Ski patrol ALWAYS make a last run under the lifts to check, at least where im from, the chances of this happening are pretty much 0. This movie looks pretty lame, im thinkin we need to proposition a production company to make a ski movie called lift shack, maybe patrol shack?

I did see Shredder!

My puppy woke me up at 2:30 AM and I stumbled upon Shredder while channel surfing and trying to get back to sleep.  THAT was not the movie to watch if you want to go back to sleep.

Didn't some guy get stuck on a chairlift that shut down for the night while mountain biking a few years ago?  I think he tried to get off by tying his shoelaces together to lose some elevation, but they snapped as soon as he put some weight on them and biffed pretty good.  Might have been Utah?
