So I separated my shoulder playing football on Thanksgiving day. It's a minor separation, I only strained the AC Tendon, not a tear. But technically its still a separation. I didn't realize it was separated and did it again playing football a week later. After having it worked on by a chiropractor I re-separated it again sledding. Then I did it again shooting hoops. So that was three days ago and I'm skiing all next week. So far the things I have done haven't been really hard hits on my shoulder, but I'm worried if I fall skiing the force will be great enough to tear my already weakened AC Tendon. Anyone else have any experience with this, my chiropractor didn't tell me not to when I told him I'd be skiing with it (he also is trained in sports medicine and was on the Olympic medical team at Salt Lake).
