I read an article a few years ago about a fellow, I believe he was from Maine, who was out to ski as many organized/operating hills as he could in a certain number of days.  It was either 30 or 60 days  or thereabouts.  Most of the areas were community areas in Maine, but he also touched most of New England.  He sometime skied as many as five per day, but from what I recall he averaged about three per day.  At the small areas, people waited for him, served him lunch and so on.  He was a great story teller and put this whole collection of experiences into a news article.  It seems to me it was about 10 years ago.

Does anyone have a clue about the what/where/when of that article?
