I need some advice.  I am looking to get a new pair of skis for my wife.

Some details on her.

She is 5 feet tall and athletic.

She has not skiied since 2005 due to some increases in the size of our family.  In 2005, she was probably a Level 5 skier.  She was confident on all blue slopes in the East and West and would test herself on groomed black diamond slopes.  Not fast, but not slow either.  She could  ski easier (smaller and softer) moguls and was good at pole plants.  She is not cautious, but not super agressive either.  Her favorite ski was a 140 cm Rossignol BW.  Her least favorite ski was a Fischer Sceneo S200.

I know that she is going to be more cautious after this time away from the mountains.  The skis will be used in an equal mix of east and west.

The skis that I am currently looking at are the K2 Free Luv (142), K2 True Luv (142), and Dynastar Exclusive Active (143).  I am really leaning towards the Free Luvs.  I think that the K2 Recon was/is a really versatile ski that can be used by intermediates and up.  That ski was stable, confidence inspiring, and did not punish you if you made a mistake.

Any thoughts out there before I pull the trigger?
