from my buddy adrian on TGR hurrying up to meet up with everyone at the lodge this morning

Today at Stowe did not suck!
Had a bit of a late start, and getting my pass took foooooorevvver...... but I was finally out on the mt.
First run up, bumped into BushwackerinPA. We skied some fun stuff (It was all open, I swear...) and took some photos. I'm gonna have to work on my skiing photo-fu, but these are ok... (I'm in red/black, he's in blue/green).

Yes, that last pic is from Goat. The bottom was nice with not too much sketchiness.

Big grin on my face, but damn I'm tired. Hope it's not too cold tomorrow. (I've already given up hope for sat to not be ridiculous. Esp given the -20/-30 windchills forecasted... UGH!

Today it snowed most of the day, fairly heavy snow from 11 on.  It was a powder day for sure.  Skied mainly on lift line and Nosedive.  Hit woods - skier's left of Nosedive very nice.  Snow filled in each run later in the day.

Hit plenty of rocks though.  To be expected early season on trails that weren't intended to even be open.  Snowmaking trails had plenty of coverage and plenty of people, but not as much soft.  No reason not to ski the powder.  Early season also features "water bars" and that added some fun.  You could find mildly tracked powder on all of the natural trails today.

Definitely a great day at Stowe.

BWPA, did you hike or ski today?

I had a great time tracking out the ice today on my new Kastle RXs. Pow would have been fun too though.

I was out skiing wish we could of hooked up...

I barely hit stuff, but I also did not ski woods at all, in fact my first couple runs on goat from liftline was super clean with no rocks hits.
