Was the 08/09 Kuro rockered?  is there a difference between rockered and reverse camber?

Yes - I don't think they changed anything.

Rockered = tips and tails bend up way early, usually with a flat spot or even slight normal camber underfoot..

Reverse = the whole damn ski bends up early, no flat spot underfoot.

The design of the Kuro from day one was reverse camber.

I'm pretty sure they tweaked the sidewall construction. Other than that & a different topsheet, I believe they are unchanged. Great ski IMO.

Thanks for the replies - I'm buying this ski for my husband - the 09/10 is $900 and the 08/09 is around $500 - but I don't want to go with last years if this years is a better ski...

There are a couple of sets of Kuro pics in the usual rocker profile place: http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=163916

You could maybe sort of kind of argue there's a tiny flat spot underfoot - but it is a stretch. And sort of academic. The curve gets relatively flat underfoot, but it pretty continuous...

in the thread:  ROCKERED SKIS have different camber shapes   I took a photo along the edge of that ski. It is a continuous reverse camber shape as I see it.
