Binding for new Gotama's

First: I'm sorry if this subject has been covered as naseum already but...

I just pulled the trigger on a new set of Gotama's. The guy at the shop recommended a set of Head LD 12's as a binding, and I went with his suggestion (I liked the heel pivot). I have time to be that annoying customer and change my mind before they're mounted. Anybody got any feelings as to whether or not this is a good binding they're not super wide, and that is my concern.

Also, after reading a few reviews, I had them mounted 1cm forward to improve the tail grip getting back down the groomers to the lift. I'm 6'4" and about 205lbs. Does these seem logical/reasonable.

Thanks, for any input, its a big purchase, and I want to make sure I have no regrets.

As for ability, I don't know, I can get down just about anything inbounds at Mammoth, Alta etc. Perhaps not with the most grace, but I can ski it. I took a few years off while living in the south, but I am getting back into the groove.  Din settings are not a huge concern. I generally am not needing to be much above 8-9 as my boots are 28.5.
