Redskins could the worst team ever

Any Redskins fan feel this way?
I have never seen a team find as many ways to lose a game.

I believe the Carolina Pansies also had the Aints on the ropes and choked.  I'd say I feel your pain, but I'm a fair weather fan that has lived many places.  I just brush it off when the home team sucks and pull for another team that used to be my home team.

 There have been many teams through the years worst than the current 'Skins.

However, Danny Boy and his puppet Vinnie may be the worst management group to ever run a team.

Whoever owns the Lions and Matt Millen will forever own the distinction of being the "worst management group" ever associated with a professional sports franchise.

It was frustrating that they came up with another loss, but that was about the best the Skins have moved the football all year, against a good team to boot.  We seem to be improving in recent weeks, but not sure if enough to stave off big house cleaning at end of season.  Is it more than just coincidence that improvement comes since Sherman Lewis was brought in to call plays?  I guess I'm ready to keep Zorn and Campbell for another year, but hire a GM and demote or dump Vinnie. The way Zorn has carried himself during this tough season reminds me of Gibbs in 1981.

They were pretty bad, but at least someone had the smarts to end the Millen era. The same can't be said in DC.

What makes the Skin's situation so unforgivable is the fact that Snyder has one of the top franchises, in terms of value, in professional sports, and has plenty of dough on top of that from his other business ventures. If he would hire a real football guy and get out of the way, they would have a chance at success.

 They are a generous team. When an opponent is on a long losing streak or unbeaten, a win means a lot to them. The smiles on the other team's faces is the greatest reward. When the game ended, I changed the channel and realized I could have been watching women's luge.

And now the "Native Americans" are lobbying agian to make them change their team name.  I doubt that they would be as offended if the skins were awesome, but now that they suck the NA's don't want any association with them...

The 'Skins aren't even the worst franchise in DC, the Nats edge them out in my opinion.

Yep--they're not much as of yet. One big difference though. The Nats started from scratch and haven't developed into much yet. The Skins were a successful franchise when Snyder took over and he made them what they are today.

If you want a pretty good local baseball comparison to the Skins, look to Baltimore and the O's. Contenders year in year out until Peter Angelos bought them. He is their Dan Snyder.

Its pretty rough here in Baltimore Washington area.
Redskins snatch defeat from the jaws of victory on a regular basis.
The O's can beat the little sisters of the poor.
The current administration things the government can create jobs.

all of these comments are totally true of our poor ol' redskins
I love them to death but theres only so much heart break a fan can take to not even be able to watch the game (i'm watching the sound of music instead of the redskins vs cowboys game...)

All i can say is THANK GOD FOR VIRGINIA TECH!!!  Without them Virginia would have no decent football team in the whole state...

LETS GO.....

No, the Nats are the Montreal Expos, who started in 1969. They have baseball in Canada... it sucks.

I can truly understand the idea that the 'Skins are a terrible franchise, but I really don't think they even come close to "worst team ever", not when you have organizations like the lowly Pittsburgh Pirates, a Detroit lions team that was 0 for last year (combine that with their complete aversion for success throughout their history), the LA Clippers, Golden State Warriors (are they still a team???)... see what I'm getting at? At least the redskins are noteworthy.

I feel that ownership groups should have a 10 season term to produce a quality product or risk losing the franchise, in all sports. Put a competitive product on the field or the league (which ever) has the right to find someone else who will.

well if you want to be really picky... the redskins don't even play in Virginia or DC, Fedex field is in Maryland!!  So then that means virginia's only football team worth any descent mention is the Hokies!!  Sorry wahoo's, but a loss against william and mary means u shouldnt even be in Div I football....

The nats got better last season as things went on and the skins got alot worse as the season went on.

I am much more excited for DC baseball in 2010 than I am for the redskins this fall.

The debate in Philly is...who will win more in 2010..The Skins with McNabb or the Eagles with Kolb.
