No, the Nats are the Montreal Expos, who started in 1969. They have baseball in Canada... it sucks.
I can truly understand the idea that the 'Skins are a terrible franchise, but I really don't think they even come close to "worst team ever", not when you have organizations like the lowly Pittsburgh Pirates, a Detroit lions team that was 0 for last year (combine that with their complete aversion for success throughout their history), the LA Clippers, Golden State Warriors (are they still a team???)... see what I'm getting at? At least the redskins are noteworthy.
I feel that ownership groups should have a 10 season term to produce a quality product or risk losing the franchise, in all sports. Put a competitive product on the field or the league (which ever) has the right to find someone else who will.
