I have plenty of unused miles on my lease so I am going for 10,000 miles this winter. That means 8-10 trips to Vermont this year. Sun/Mon treks are on the docket.

Phil...

If you want to use those miles why not come out to The Left Coast, Le Club Bachelorama is at your disposal and I gaurentee you it will not be too hot!

Cheers

Too much time needed to go west. Thanks for the thoughts though.

I bought my Malibu in May of 2007 with just under 8000 miles on it. Starting in June, I drove it from Rochester to Skaneateles Falls pretty much 5 days a week for 6 months.

I just rolled it to 60,000 miles this week. Care to guess how many of those miles are form that first summer of owning it?

I put 8000+ miles on my Yukon last winter with 2 trips to Colorado.  Priceless!

That very well could be the TDI's maiden voyage.

Clicked over 9,000 miles with a month to go. Should be a no brainer.

if you want to burn some of those miles you could make a road trip to Boyne Mt for some spring skiing.  If Bumpfreaq has healed up, you can pick him up on the way ......
I know Michigan skiing is high on your priority list.

That'd be more than a 1000 rt and would, therefore, cost him for going over miles on the lease!

Actually, I have more miles to burn. I just clicked over 40K and bought 50K on the 2 years lease (miles are cheap up front and the last 2 cars I had I drove 23-25K/yr)
