Renting skis and boots at Jackson Hole

Thread Starter
Arriving at 8:00pm in February. I am considering Door to Door Rentals so I don't have to worry about rentals the next morning when trying to get ready to ski. It costs more than other places due to the service. Is it worth it for the convenience? I have looked at Wildernest and Jackson Hole Sports. If I am at there door by 8:00am when they open is it a madhouse to get things? I will be getting equipment for myself, wife and 2 sons.

Also, what is the difference between demo packages and performance packages? We usually bring our own stuff but my sons have outgrown theirs and mine are showing some age.

Thanks for any help.

+1 on the recommendation to get in touch with Stephen.  He works at Jackson Hole Sports and can probably give you some good advice on how to work the system.

I do know that - unless it's a full-on powder day - you'll usually be well ahead of the crowd if you walk through the door right as they open at 8:00am.

I think the primary difference between performance and demo is that you would have a choice of some of the more exotic skis if you go with the demo package.  Performance will probably be somewhere more like middle-of--the-road mid-fat skis.  Stephen may know more about that.

Have fun while you're here (and it's not too soon to start praying for snow).
