Am an average skier, but recently moved to a decent ski area of the Pacific NW and want to really improve my skills on the hill.  I'm not into moguls (disability insurance is too high) but am interested in skiing the entire mountain, including future backcountry treks. I'm skiing by myself a lot to practice up and go from average to advanced. I'm not looking at speed so much as true skill in the sport that would allow me to take on almost any terrain in the future.  Any recs on things I should be doing/practicing on the slope to really advance my skillset?
