Now, I suggest you ask a moderator to guide you to information about this site's search function which will allow you too, to find threads on most topics as all people do here is jabber on about anything even remotely related to skiing.
However new people sometimes behave as if they have some hugely original thoughts about skiing that no else could have been talking about every year, and never think to check and see if the conversation happened, or is happening, and create a new thread which bumps everything else down. Given the influx of new members at the beginning of ski season, this can lead to dozens of redundant threads because new people most often DON'T have hugely original thoughts about skiing that we haven't been talking about every year.
Thanks for the advice. Next time I will just jump into a conversation from 2003.
Couldn't you argue almost everything has been already discussed on here? Unless you are talking about a brand new piece of gear or a trip report or something. I mean, we have already discussed bump technique, why so many threads? Let's just have one that goes on forever. And if I bump a six year old thread, doesn't that bump everything else down, same as starting a new one?
