Are you using the new All New Posts feature?

I'm really liking the All New Posts that we have available to us, in particular the +/- signs that allow us to sample the new posts (or not). Are others using/liking this feature?

Here's what it looks like for reference (plus/minus signs didn't come through):

I didn't understand that that was what was meant by All New Posts feature, because that is not what it is titled on the Home Page.  It's called

Recent EpicSki Activity

All New Posts is something else and includes posts other than stuff you've subscribed to.

But, in regard to the feature you are asking about, I like it finally.  The + sign, however, I only use when there are just one or two short messages.  And then it's useless in a way because it doesn't mark the thread as read because in essence it's just previewed.  And it's sort of dangerous because if there is a short paragraph and then another paragraph later you might think you've seen the whole post when you haven't.  So, I guess what I'm saying is, initiallly I was using it, but then I realized that it didn't mark things as read and I might miss part of the post so now I'm no longer using it.  It's sort of a "what the heck was this all about anyway" thing.

Still waiting for an All New Posts which only lists ONLY the threads which have new posts since I marked everything as read.

You're right, it's the recent activity feed. From the forum home page, if you've subscribed to the activity feed, clicking All New Posts takes you to Recent Activity. I don't mark anything as read -- I'm here all the time so that's not useful for me.

Thanks for the correction and explanation, Sibhusky.

Yeah, I am using it, and liking it. I was confused at first when the new feature rolled out and my home page was completely reset, but once I set everything up the way I wanted it's much, much nicer that what we had before. Kudos to dev team!

Yep, I do the same, unless I am looking for something specific.

You can toggle back and forth between the "feed" version of all new posts and back to classic all new posts just by clicking on the "all new posts" button from the feed view.

So, to summarize, you get to the feed by clicking in the blue sticky inviting you to try the beta of the activity feed. To get back to the old view, click the regular "all new posts" link in the nav bar just above the title.

Regarding the read/unread issue and "new only" for the feed, we're planning what to do next, and that's why we haven't been more emphatic about people using it as a substitute for all new posts yet.
