Blizzard 8.7 Sizing - Need some help choosing between 167 and 174

I'm wondering if I can get some input on whether to choose 167 or 174...

I'm a male, 182lbs, 5'8" somewhere in the intermediate/advanced category.  I live and ski in Colorado.  I spend about 50/50 on-off piste, but would like to do a bit more exploring off this season.  Any thoughts??

I am 5'10 145 lbs and ski a 172 head monster im82 and a BD 180 Verdict. I suggest the 174 just because if you ski it well it will be much more fun IMO. Although 167 might be just as good depending on what purposes you are using it for.

Thanks Spookfish.

Decisions decisions...anyone else care to weigh in with any other opinions or considerations?

Also forgot to ask, what length ski have you been skiing on regularly? If you like that length, the common suggestion is to stick with it.

I've skied Rossignal Z9's in a 170 for the last 3 years.  They're 126-74-105, 14.8m radius.

174's....at your weight and desire to do more off piste, these would be the best choice.

Demo and then buy the Line Prophet 100 in the 179.
