Yo Phil! Check out my "new" sticks, whatd'ya think?

So at the recent ski swap, one during which I sold a pair of ski, and a pair of poles, I spotted a pair of old Volants with some vintage high DIN bindings; they were very inexpensive and I knew that my friend Rasputin would be able to move the bindings on TGR, so now I have a pair of 203 G Max ( 93/63/83 ) which didn't cost me a thing.

I wonder if they are worth using at some point. Enlighten me Phil, oh keeper of the old Volant lore, are they worth a ride or are they slugs?

Mount them w/ a demo binding & pass them around!

That was one sweet ski, it was the ski that made me start skiing Volants. With a 93mm tip it was the widest tip of all the GS skis of the day, with the only other ones being over 90mm were the Dynastar G9, Salomon 9100 and Rossi EX's. Looks like there were Look Turntables on them.

pretty amazing: sees the bore pattern and knows which vintage binding was on the ski. hat's off to your all-knowing-mess

Thanks Phil, I guess I might have to mount them up and try them out. I bet they're a rocking mogul ski.

You were pretty close on the bindings. They had Rossignol FKS Course on them.
