Assumedly even you know that it's about 2000 miles from real skiing, but so is NH in my opinion. And you would be leaving the Holy Grail of least coast skiing to go to Tahoe, why???
No need to explain, you'd just muck it up anyway.
So anyway the skiings pretty poor in Boca (what's Gunstock's base today?), but it has beautiful white beaches and 70 degree temps to go play on, the Keys are 1.5 hours south, SoBe is 45 minutes out, the Ocean is still 75+, the Hobie's waiting for me, so overall it's not bad. There could be a reason why we get 8m tourons a year - go figure.
Oh, and usually 45-55 non least coast days in a year, it's a really nice place to come back to and get some shorts and t-shirt tan between trips (understand this time?).
