There are a good amount of people that are "set" for the season, but there are some of us who still have hear to get. What is still on your "to do" list?

To open a cardboard box delivered by the brown truck from a certain shop in PA

I need to arrange a therapist to cure my family's aversion to snow.

II need to arrange a few days to tour either San Francisco, Las Vegas and/or Catalina Island. Cripes, who wants to see a bridge, a prison, a fake Rome, Paris etc in Vegas, or buffalo left on an island from a movie set  in the 1930s?.  They must be nutz.

At least I can I console myself because seeing these tourist attractions is cheaper than therapy.

Season pass to my hill(s), and a helmet larger than what most companies make.

A certain Pa shop is still waiting for delivery from a certain ski company in a certain brown truck so that certain PA shop can drill a certain plate for a certain ski then pack a few particular items in a certain brown box then ship them to a a certain Bear in Conn.

I want a piar of SG skis and a new MORE aggressive looking full-face helmet and maybe some POC goggles to go with them for that top-gun look.  Yes, I am serious.

Snow!!!!

Finally getting boots that fit well (hopefully). Make appointment at boot fitter tomorrow. I've been destroying my feet in one boot or another for the last ten years and I'm done with it. Fiancee almost killed me when I lost a nail bump skiing on the last run of the season last year, and we were planning a beach destination wedding. Authorized to go buy boots that fit :)

Maybe a helmet for me (still a holdout on that deal).  Also maybe a super nice pair of gloves (the $100 variety)
My quiver is full (although slanted only towards racing skis) and my Lange WC's are good for one more year.

Helmet & all layers for my youngest daughter, the skis will show tomorow and I just need to mount the bindings.

Snowboard, bindings & all layers for my oldest daughter who went over to the Dark Side this year.  Puke.

Need to punch boots for 6th toe and have my bindings mounted to my new boards...hopefully all at the same time.

At this point, I would just be happy with cold.

1) SNOW!

2) Waiting for the shop to finish mounting up bindings on a new pair of Wateas .. although they will need much more of #1 before they'll come out to play.

3) Gloves! ... Went into my boot bag the other day and found my gloves are missing

4) Pants.  Someone conspired to go into my gear closet and shrink my ski pants over the summer.  (That's my story and I'm sticking to it! )

It figures that your best skiing season ever would be tailed by what might end up being your worst ever.

Sending the snow vibes your way too (but we need snow in CO too!).

  1. Bake my Scarpa's
  2. Mount bindings (2 pairs)
  3. Pick which jacket I am keeping (have 3 here, 2 need to go back)
  4. Waiting on rolling duffle/boot bag
  5. Press new skis?
