I am considering to buy a pair of skis for my wife. She's done a few seasons of skiing on rentals and is a mid-tier intermediate (Level 5 or 6): comfortable on most blues, but not so much on blacks. She is primarily interested in fun and forgiving skis that match her level, but isn't too worried about outgrowing them. A good price is a much more important consideration and we've found three models for under $300 that seem to match our requirements: the Volkl Attiva Viento, the Nordica Olympia Fox and the Dynastar Exclusive Sensation.

Any thought on these? Any other recommendations?
