Oh sorry, I thought you could use your bum knee to predict the weather

I was waiting for a top of page post location for a new snow forecast

Oh thank you so much.  I guess I better unpack those shorts and t-shirts.  Thought it was spring skiing , this time of year.

Do we have specific meet-up times for the day trippers on Saturday and Sunday?

In years past, it was at the top of the lifts in back of the main lodge. Since the group with the house is ski-in, ski-out, 9 AM may not work since we may have to take a trip down to the bottom before we can head up.

9:15 AM for a meet-up? (People can get in a lap before hand.)

I'd better not get too cocky  goofing around with the old 204s or I'll acquire the same forecasting ability

Dress warm. Blue Knob is one of the windiest and coldest spots in PA.

Curious, is there any internet connection at the resort, in the house?

LOL, I asked that yesterday.   The answer is no.  The main lodge didn't have one either last year..  I'll probably be too tired from skiing to mess around on a computer anyway.

LOL, thank's CR.  I guess I won't haul my pc along with me then.

My info is based on what JamesJ said yesterday about last year's accommodations and my lodge experience last year.  Also, there's nothing in the house info boasting about an Internet connection.  I suppose there is a slim chance that a broadband connection was added but there is none that James is aware of.

If someone finds out otherwise tomorrow, let me know and I will bring a machine Saturday afternoon

Well I"m off to bed, will not be back on line until Monday, I guess.  See those that make it this weekend.

Have a great time without me. I am stuck going to VT. I just need to hit some longer runs.

Packing up to go, see yunz at the Knob and look for the TR Sunday or Monday.

With the trip to Utah next week I have too much on my plate to make a 14 hr road trip East.
Sorry.

If you can still read this:, what kind of beer should I bring you?

pfblack and I will there to represent the Philly contingent on Sunday.  We'll try to get there by 0900 and look for the group around 0915 at the top.  I'll be in a black Cloudveil jacket on Blizzard 8.7s.  pfblack sports the Head SS Speeds with a blue berry and black Marker jacket.

I'll be there tomorrow as well.  Probably not by 9:15 for the meet up, but I'll track you down somehow!  Should be there by 10 at the latest.

I'll be in a black Stoic jacket and bright green pants on Fischer Progressor 8+'s.

We had a great weekend at Blue Knob, Feb 19-21.  Weather, snow, and participants superb.  Somebody will have to start a trip report and photo thread later.  I'm going to bed.

I'm headed to bed as well as soon as the USA-Canada game is over.  Great skiing with everyone today!

Thanks for organizing the get together Jim and for the lunchtime hospitality today!

Great day on Sunday.

Most snow I've ever seen at Blue Knob (40 yrs+) .
Good snow everywhere (excluding Deer Run- they have never figured out how to work
Deer Run). All the natural snow trails & glades in woods have the most snow ever.

Stemboggan "bowl" was actually a skiable bowl for first time.
I'm glad the knee is holding up. It did slow me a bit but I did Extrovert anyway.
