Has anyone been using the beta of the Activity Stream in place of the all new posts page?

I'm wondering if anyone has chosen to use the activity stream in place of the all new posts page? If you want to try it out, go to the all new posts page and click the beta link.

Turned it off immediately.  Hate hitting More More More to find all the new posts.

would you use it if it defaulted to 100 items let's say?

I actually don't mind the "more" button, I like it better then a new page loading and losing the articles from the previous page.

Yes having a longer default list would be better.

At times the "more" button brings up the spinner for a very long period of time, that definitely needs to be fixed.

performance upgrades are in the pipline for sure!
also, thanks for your comment about your use of the more button versus pagination. good to know.

Well, what I want is all the New Posts since the last time I marked all posts read, no matter how many posts that was.  With the "old" (i.e. current) layout, I can at least estimate that that mark is about page 5.  Now, with the old Vbulletin, it gave me what I was looking for, which was all the unread threads.  I could then start with the oldest thread, which is what I like to do, then work my way to the newer threads.

So you want a "new only" filter, plus the ability to switch the sort order?

Well, if I am hitting All New Posts, naturally that is what I am looking for!  And I would think that in the user profile we could set the order we wanted that in.
